Drake Cancels Philadelphia Show an Hour Before It Was Due to Start
For a minute, it looked like Drake’s ‘Would You Like A Tour?’ has been liberated from all the drama

For a minute, it looked like Drake‘s ‘Would You Like A Tour?’ has been liberated from all the drama prior to its start in Pittsburgh, PA. However, the second show, scheduled for Philadelphia, was abruptly canceled one hour before it was supposed to start. NBC Philadelphia points at the statement issued from the venue, stating that the concert was postponed because of “an unexpected technical issue:”
“Due to the elaborate nature of tonight’s show and an unexpected technical issue, Drake’s ‘Would You Like A Tour?’ concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia has been postponed until Wednesday, December 18.”
The statement also confirmed that all tickets for last night’s cancelled show will be honoured at the new date in December. Fans had already been admitted into the Wells Fargo Center. According to Pitchfork, supporting act Miguel offered a compensation by giving a surprise performance to less than 100 people at Ortlieb’s.
