Yohji Yamamoto and his eponymous label present an always exciting look at their Fall/Winter 2013 collection. While it’s said that “the clothes don’t make the man,” it can’t go overlooked that faux-facial hair seem to make this runway collection. Once you get past the often cartoonish addition to the show, one can note apron-like layers, animal-print knit robes and matted faux fur coats. But of course, there were classic Yamamoto pieces to note as well – showcasing jackets that buttoned slightly off center, superfluous pockets or attachments, and cropped, roomy pants.
