Xander Zhou unveils his Fall/Winter 2013 collection titled “Homies.” As a reflection of street culture, the line also pays tribute to the boys-will-be-boys mentality, which can be seen proudly displayed on some of the more casual items. While muted neutrals make up most of the palette, we do see some splashes of red, sky blue and warmer colors such as tangerine rounding out a collection that questions the conventions of fashion — reflecting a distinctly utilitarian sci-fi influence. That being said, the relaxed nature of the collection is seen most in the exploration of large baggy and draping fits on the tops and overcoats.
