Oliver Sweeney makes intriguing plays on age-old silhouettes, toying with the idea until something refreshingly original comes out. The newest release from the designer, the Wickham Two-Tone Oxford shoe, is no exception to this. Considering the combination of materials, colors and textures contained within a relatively simple model, the brand’s new release for Spring/Summer 2013 does have a certain playful, imitative edge. The upper is composed of both stone calf leather and light grey suede, forming an eye-catching contrast. These colors sit atop a Goodyear leather sole, ensuring maximum comfort and craftsmanship. Starting at around £225 GBP (approximately $360 USD), the Oliver Sweeny Wickham Two-Tone Oxford will be available on the brand’s web shop soon.
