McLaren's P1 Hypercar Hits the Track

First previewed at last year’s Paris Auto Show, McLaren updates us on the development of its P1 hypercar with this short video. The black and white model seen here with the spoiler fully extended fittingly draws its pattern of intermingled converging lines from the racetrack that it hopes to dominate once it enters production. Leading up to that date, McLaren and its team inform that they’ve been tweaking the design both through tests on a batch of XP (experimental) P1 models and through collaboration with suppliers such as Pirelli for tires, Akebono for brakes, and Mobil 1 for lubrication.
