Hong Kong-based toymaker Hot Toys has been in the business of producing scaled-down representations of our favorite celebrities and movie characters with extreme likeness for over a decade now. Having fabricated a long list of figurines for each of the last two Iron Man movies, the high-end toy company continues its coverage of Marvel films with the release of a limited edition Tony Stark model. Nearly three months away from Iron Man 3‘s box office opening, this 1/6th scaled rendition is specially crafted based on the image of Robert Downey Jr. as the genius billionaire Tony Stark in his workshop. At approximately 30 centimeters tall, this figurine features a newly sculpted body with over 30 points of articulations, an LED lit chest, metallic painting on armor pieces, Stark’s trusted mechanical robot, and a LED-lit stage. Although product details are subject to change, this Tony Stark Limited Edition Collectible Figure from Hot Toys is expected to release sometime in the second quarter of 2013.
