For their latest release, E. Tautz drew a lot of inspiration from the myriad personalities and scenes that compose the culture of the Scottish isles. It’s naturalism as translated to fashion, a beautiful interpretation of real figures–the farmer, the small-town teenager, the local bakery–for the runway. E. Tautz’s 2013 fall/winter collection recently premiered, featuring the patterns, fits and arrangements of a proudly British brand. The collection offers wool trousers, lambswool roll-neck sweaters and tartan jackets, staying true to the uniform of the everyman. With cloth sourced from the legendary Johnstons of Elgin, shoes by Harry’s of London, and colors inspired by the sea and sky of the UK’s countryside, E. Tautz’s latest collection reflects a sensitivity and passion for the brand’s heritage.
