S O H N - The Wheel

Not much is known about London-bred, Vienna, Austria-based artist S O H N, but his music speaks volumes. With only three song releases to his name, the singer-songwriter and producer is garnering press and acclaim that most have to work years for. Furthering the intrigue behind him is the fact that his official debut single, “The Wheel,” is the first ever release from brand new label Aesop, which will be distributing the track on November 5 as a 12” EP also titled The Wheel. However, after you listen to the song below, you may just want to grab it on iTunes before then. “The Wheel” is filled with synths, keys, hi-hats and vocal loops that your mind is sure to replay all day. But add in S O H N’s distinctly high-pitched, yet haunting voice and moving lyrics, and we have one tremendous record. “It’s a track about the end of something, the beginning of something, and the over-thinking of that time in between,” he said in a recent interview with Dummy Mag. “I feel like the track is like a big sigh, in some ways. Like exhaling after finding out that something you’ve been dreading doing actually is nothing at all.”
