Fool's Gold Day Off 2012
Each year, record label Fool’s Gold takes over the backyard of the City Winery in SoHo on Labor Day
Each year, record label Fool’s Gold takes over the backyard of the City Winery in SoHo on Labor Day for its annual Fool’s Gold ‘Day Off’ party. This year’s lineup included French Montana, Danny Brown, Flatbush Zombies, Just Blaze and #BEEN #TRILL which attracted a feverish crowd of people. An opportunity to showcase the label’s roster in previous years, the event this year brought on a horde of restless fans who gushed and trampled the VIP entrance gates. Perhaps the crowds were too overwhelming as A-Trak was forced to interrupt Danny Brown’s set prior to Montana’s headlining performance to inform the crowd that the cops had put an end to their evening. Regardless, it was a day of great music and exciting performances – take a look at the video if you were not on hand to witness the rowdiness.
