Burn Rubber x Reebok Night Storm - A Closer Look

For Rick Williams and Roland Coit of Detroit’s Burn Rubber, footwear design is something that is not only the bread and butter of their boutique business, but also a passion that the duo take very seriously. Having already solidified their presence within the footwear landscape through previous collaborations alongside Reebok and New Balance, the crew links up once again for a special Reebok Night Storm. Previously teased a few days ago, the hi-top is mocked up in a buttery tonal grey upper that sees hits of ripstop and perforated paneling to delineate each section in a refined and seamless fashion. Set atop a pure white outsole, the midsole is speckled in contrasting red and blue, while threaded hiking laces and alternating chromatic lace locks round things out. Positioned atop a gum undersole, the Burn Rubber x Reebok Night Storm is yet another solid example of the footwear creativity being churned out by the Detroit natives. Slated for a launch date of October 6, check in with Burn Rubber for availability as stock is likely to diminish fairly quickly.
