The warehouse at 619 Western in Seattle, Washington is said to have been built in 1910, and was allegedly employed as a light manufacturing facility for around 60 years, though what exactly transcribed there is apparently still under investigation. The building is now home to a small populace of low income artists and well-known local derelicts. It is also the central inspiration and theme for the 2012 fall/winter lookbook from Los Angeles streetwear label FUCT under its “FRIENDS U CANT TRUST” collection. Some of the more notable characters of 619 Western have been tapped to show off the label’s forthcoming tees, sweatshirts and snapbacks in all the gritty glory that LA graphic design can muster.
