On the heels of her Fantasea mixtape and 1991 EP, Azealia Banks is now taking on the release of her highly anticipated debut LP Broke With Expensive Taste. While the piece was initially due in September, the project has now been moved to February 12, 2013. As reported earlier, the album is set to carry a lyrical theme that would be “a young girl trying to find it,” which basically means embarking on the road to riches.
“Success! Herself! Her path! The young girl trying to make it! That girl who’s at the end of her childhood trying to get a job and make some money, you know? She needs to get what she can get! She needs to go out there and show people she knows how to work for it.”
