Retailer Urban Outfitters and sportswear brand Champion have teamed up to release a vintage-inspired sports collection. The collaboration includes hoodies, tees, crewneck sweatshirts, sweaters, jerseys and letterman jackets – all embodying Champion’s uniquely American aesthetic. Having cemented the look of many of today’s sportswear staples such as hoodies and mesh clothing, Champion seeks to return to its roots by mending classic faded colors and logos with bold designs. The move upwards by Champion is surprising but comforting as many utilitarian brands have begun to keep an eye on fashion. The Urban Outfitters x Champion 2012 menswear collection will range from $28 USD to $68 USD and is available in stores and online.
