Much of the work of Japanese label Sacai is an exercise in creating harmony through contradictory patterns, fabrics and knit elements. The forthcoming collection from the label is of no exception with its uniquely patterned series of two-tone knits, and an innovative rendition of the classic MA-1 bomber jacket. Even Sacai’s classic dress shirt gets special attention at the hem and cuffs. However, while many of these design elements help create a more distinctive aesthetic, they are also subtle innovations to improve the fit or feel of the garment.
