The world of horology is filled with spectacular 24-hour timepieces, but it’s rare to find one with a reliable Swiss mechanical movement and a rich history of quality craftsmanship for under $2,000. New from Swiss watchmakers Longines is the Conquest 24 Hours, a dual timezone watch aimed at travelers on a slightly more paired-down budget. Within the 41mm stainless steel case beats an ETA caliber A07 171 — a new Swiss movement designed for larger watches and the larger diameter movements needed for 24-hour timekeeping. The Conquest 24 Hours will be available in three different colored dials from authorized Longines dealers for around $1,600.
