London-based online clothing purveyor LN-CC presents a look at South Korean-born designer Mason Jung and his upcoming collection for Fall/Winter 2012. Making use of “flat construction” throughout the collection, LN-CC highlights the unique and innovative process by which the designer was able to produce a ready-to-wear piece out of a single continuous piece of fabric. As Jung illustrates, strategically placed zippers and magnets are used to create the folds and detailing for the sleeved and sleeveless blazers in the collection – thus providing a unique and unorthodox take on an otherwise classic menswear staple. Both blazers are now available online while the remainder of the collection is due out in the months ahead.
