Fresh off an appearance by A$AP Rocky in the August 2012 issue of the publication, Clash Magazine presents a behind-the-scenes look at its photshoot with Kendrick Lamar for the upcoming September installment. Photographed by Hayley Louisa Brown, the Compton rapper is depicted rocking a pair of Ray-Ban Clubmaster sunglasses alongside a Top Dawg Entertainment sweatshirt – a perfect illustration of the smooth, laid-back style that encompasses his signature sound and an homage of sorts to the Los Angeles-based record label. Lamar’s major label debut, good kid, m.A.A.d city, is due out on October 2 while his full spread for Clash Magazine will be on display in the September issue – set to hit newsstands on August 5.
