Damien Hirst Donates Original Spin Painting to Burger King

Interesting news from famed artist Damien Hirst arrives with the announcement that he has recently bestowed his painting titled, Beautiful Psychedelic Gherkin Exploding Tomato Sauce All Over Your Face, Flame Grilled Painting 2003, to the Burger King at Leicester Square, London. Burger King UK Ltd Marketing Director for the UK and Ireland, Jo Blundell spoke out in regards to the pairing by referencing the company’s shift to a more modern and artistic build-out for its locations. The piece is set behind reinforced glass to ensure that, although its title implies a level of chaos, it isn’t subjected to any unnecessary flying condiments from Burger King patrons.
