A few weeks back, British songstress Charli XCX released a 21-minute mixtape, Heartbreaks and Earthquakes, which made waves online for her takes on such songs as Drake’s “Dreams Money Can Buy.” In addition, she also let loose her brand new single, “You’re The One.” Now, the 19-year-old is back with its visual accompaniment. Like the gritty, goth-tinted pop song itself, the video for “You’re The One” is dark and a bit strange, but illuminates in parts and maintains a bright feel. Watch it above, grab the single over at iTunes, and head over to her label’s site for a list of her dates on the August leg of Coldplay’s tour.
