In gearing up for the September 10 release of their much-anticipated sophomore album, Coexist, The xx recently linked with NME to discuss the project, which they say is all “love songs.” The English act has been working on the album since November of last year, as more specifically, this is what was disclosed regarding the forthcoming set:
A lot of it is still personal, but I’ve been a bit more inspired by things that have happened to other people and putting myself in their shoes. But they’re all love songs and some of them are sadder than others.
