Quentin Tarantino's New Django Unchained Movie Trailer
Quentin Tarantino’s first full-blown Western is still over six months away but has made its rounds
Quentin Tarantino’s first full-blown Western is still over six months away but has made its rounds rather quickly. Boasting a star-studded cast, the film takes place in the deep pre-Civil War South. Jamie Foxx plays liberated slave Django who contends against evil plantation owner Leonardo DiCaprio with the help of German bounty hunter Christoph Waltz. Sacha Baron Cohen, Kurt Russell, Kevin Costner, Jonah Hill and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were originally casted but dropped out of the controversial movie pre-production due to scheduling conflicts. With some overly dramatic acting, beautifully crafted cinematography, and typical Tarantino violence – and set off by an incongruously apt ’70s soul soundtrack – the film will hit theaters in the U.S. this Christmas on December 25.
