French professional skateboarder Lucas Puig is set to receive his first proper signature shoe this fall with the introduction of the Lucas Pro from adidas Skateboarding. Heavily inspired by various tennis models from the extensive adidas archives, the Lucas Pro pairs a breathable, perforated tongue with a lightweight SPRINTSKIN suede upper and reinforced toe box. Eschewing the heavily padded interior favored by some, the Lucas Pro features a minimalist, streamlined silhouette meant to provide better board feel and control for technical skaters. Cushioned with an EVA midsole and molded sockliner, look for the kicks to begin hitting retailers this July.
