Upcoming documentary to highlight Black Keys' bromance
There is a Black Keys documentary in the works and it looks like it will not be your average rock

There is a Black Keys documentary in the works and it looks like it will not be your average rock star feature. According to SPIN, filmmaker/photographer Noah Abrams is working on a visual piece that is set to become “a buddy comedy with perhaps the greatest soundtrack of all time.”
“A lot of music documentaries spend too much time trying to make people look cool,” says Noah Abrams, filmmaker, photographer, and friend of the band. “I’m fortunate enough to know both these guys pretty well and their relationship is pretty incredible and very funny.”
Abrams, who is a close friend of the blues-rock duo, has been accompanying the band on the road since the start of their El Camino world tour back in Manchester, England in January.
“They’re guys that grew up around the corner from each other. They worked and worked and worked and toured and toured and slept in a van and worked their asses off and now they’re selling out arenas. I think it’s a testament to their talent and hard work. We’ve gotten some amazing footage so far.”
Expect this documentary to arrive in time for next year’s film festival season and see their ongoing, extensive tour schedule below.
