The Ecclesia App is an interactive album for the iPad that allows listeners the ability to take control of the artwork and sound for each individual track, making every listening experience of the album a unique one. Created by a founding party of SoundCloud, the music is derived from a series of church recordings – using fragments of strings, choirs, organs and ambient noises that are paired with complex sculptural visuals that can be manipulated, thus slightly changing the song that is playing. The Ecclesia App can be downloaded here for $4 USD.
