From the unveiling of his Budweiser-branded, Live Nation-powered music festival, to the announcement that he will be taking a break from music to spend time with his daughter, to the revelation that he stands beside President Obama in support of same-sex marriage, Jay-Z has been all over the news this week. Now that Hov has broken the ice on that last mentioned controversial topic, we have another rap star announcing his stance on same-sex marriage to the media. In an interview on MTV RapFix Live, T.I. was asked by Sway how he feels about the sensitive subject. Tip responded by ultimately saying, “I think that you should be able to do whatever you want to do.” In addition, he told viewers that he will be off of probation in September, just in time for him to cast a vote for Obama in the November election. With the presidential race heating up, expect to see even more artists taking sides and expressing their opinions in the coming months.
