Public Enemy celebrate their 25th year as a group with a double album release. Considered to be one of the founding fathers of hip-hop and known for their politically charged lyrics and criticism of the American media, the group are set to produce both LPs through money raised from fundraising campaigns. Guest appearances from fellow veterans Henry Rollins, Tom Morello, DMC and Brother Ali have all been promised. Public Enemy frontman Chuck D confirmed that the first album released, titled Most Of My Heroes Still Don’t Appear On No Stamp, will arrive in the summer. A follow-up, The Evil Empire Of Everything, will subsequently appear in autumn. The double 2012 drop will be the 13th and 14th studio album the five-piece from Roosevelt, Long Island have released since their debut Yo! Bum Rush the Show came out in 1987. Expect initial new material to appear in the coming weeks.
