Although Jimmy Fallon has been doing a great job over the past couple of years of helping keep Neil Young’s name in the headlines of music websites and his voice—or a great impersonation of it, rather—in the ears of late night television viewers, the legendary folk rocker has decided to return to the scene with some new music. This summer, the 66-year-old will be releasing Americana, which will consist of his and on-and-off collaborators Crazy Horse’s takes on a slew of American classics. The kickoff taste of the project, which will serve as the first that Young and the band have released together since 1996’s Broken Arrow, comes in the form of “Oh Susanna,” a song that can be traced back to the 1848 sheet music of songwriter Stephen Foster.
