MR PORTER: Interview with Marc Hare

In MR PORTER’s latest Video Manual, they speak to Marc Hare – founder of the eponymous shoe label MR HARE. Seeing footwear as a “punctuation mark” of sorts – where as they can be bold and expressive or more understated – Hare candidly notes that a pair of shoes is often times what a person notices first on another individual. The exploration into footwear showcases Hare’s love for his profession and the amount of time and effort that goes into crafting something that others believe should last a lifetime, should they tend to it with tender loving care.
