Just days before its scheduled May 15 North American launch (18th for our European readers), Rockstar Games releases its official Max Payne 3 trailer. Back for a third installment, the story follows the troubled and aged anti-hero through the shadowy depths of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Working as a private security guard for real estate mogul Rodrigo Branco, the now painkiller-addicted Max finds himself reliving the past as he is pulled back into the life he tried so hard to bury. We are once again reintroduced to the Max Payne character, but this time a darker and cynical complex is revealed through Payne’s introductory monologue.
