Epicly Later'd - Part 1: Arto Saari

VBS.tv’s series Epicly Later’d continues with Part 1 of their conversation with pro skater Arto Saari. Seemingly out of nowhere, Saari showed up on the scene and quickly emerged as one of the top skaters in the industry. In this 10-minute short-form documentary, the Finnish native recalls the early days of trying to get sponsored to his progression to today. As described by VICE, “If you wanted to describe it to someone who doesn’t skate, you could say: Imagine a boy from a faraway country showing up at the World Series and asking if he could play. And not only does he play, but he hits four home runs and becomes the MVP. That’s basically what Arto did.”
