The recently announced Aston Martin AM310 started off as a concept, but is slated to succeed the automaker’s famed DBS. Revealed at Lake Como in Italy, the AM310 draws a great deal of inspiration from the One-77, and has already won the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Design Award as a conceptual prototype. Aston Martin hints that the AM310 will overshadow the DBS in power — as production specs point towards a rumored 6.0-liter V12 which should be capable of more than 570 horsepower. The final build will also make extensive use of carbon fiber, and feature significant suspension upgrades to maximize handling. Aston has not yet elected to show off the all-new interior, but rest assured we’ll have photographs when they become available.
