Coachella breaks attendance record during first weekend

Just because this year accounts for the first time that California’s illustrious Coachella festival has expanded to two weekends of madness, it surely didn’t cut down on the insane number of attendees as last weekend’s numbers broke the attendance record for the high-profile get-together. Sources estimate that somewhere between 80,000 to 85,000 people were present during this year’s initial weekend of shows. That’s roughly 10,000 to 15,000 more guests than last year. So as everyone is gearing up for tomorrow’s kickoff of the final weekend, can they surpass those numbers?
