Dating back to 1945 during WWII, BMW has subtly been a player within the realm of bicycle manufacturing, applying its unique automotive design sensibilities to the gear-shifting two-wheeler world. Today we offer a look at the redesigned 2012 Enduro Mountain Bike with various upgrades from last year’s model. Featuring an improved monocoque powder-coated lightweight frame composed of two deep-drawn aluminum shells, this all-terrain matte black bike continues with neon green accents, a 4-pivot rear suspension with 30-speed Shimano Deore XT shift system, Fox forks, and a specially developed adjustable angle stem to increase rider comfort and efficiency. Rigorously tested under DIN plus standards, the Enduro can be purchased through BMW online for €3,399 EUR (approximately $4,469 USD).
