This spring, the team from Munich’s A Kind of Guise was invited to the new research lab of Frankfurt’s Weltkulturen Museum to begin work on a special project. Set to debut this fall, the exhibition will combine fashion and anthropology as the team reimagines various artifacts from the museum’s collection as they are incorporated within their latest designs. As a result, the team will be establishing a pop-up shop to remain open throughout their time in Frankfurt. Set to open on Thursday, April 5, the debut of the pop-up will be celebrated with the release of a new bag collection, each done up in leather and decorated with clean color-blocking for spring. Opening at 6 p.m., the temporary retail space, located at the renowned AZITA Store, will remain open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the remainder of the team’s stay in Frankfurt.
