A Bathing Ape’s no stranger to the world of collaborative toys. While Medicom Toy and the Bearbrick has long been the quintessential form for a BAPE toy, the Japanese but now Hong Kong-owned streetwear giant reappropriates the classic Optimus Prime through this Convoy Black Version (Convoy is the Japanese name for Optimus Prime). While not fully murdered out, you get an idea of the theme as the Chief Commander loses his signature red and blue colors in favor of a muted aesthetic.
