Juxtapoz Magazine Issue #136

The May 2012 edition of Juxtapoz Magazine — or issue #136 — unabashedly celebrates street art in its “special examination on the state of public art in 2012.” This issue is the culmination of a year’s investigation into public art programs, and their value and impact on community service in the U.S. and around the world. It relies on discussions with festival stakeholders and politicians, but also considers the public artists’ experiences in the realm of developing initiatives. Issue #136 captures four special covers by Steve Powers, JR, Swoon and El Mac, as well as features with Nuart, FAME Festival, Ron English, and Revok and Saber. It is now available here.
