If Mike D of the Beastie Boys had his own fantasy house, he would create a blank slate of space, and fill it with the music and art of inspired artists from all over the world. Starting in April, Mike D is making that dream a reality, by inviting a group of artists and musicians to contribute to a 17-day festival exhibition at the Geffen Contemporary housed within the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). The guest list already includes such contributors as Benjamin Jones, Mike Mills, Tom Sachs, Lauren Mackler from Public Fiction, and many more.
