Essentials: Benny Seki

Having previously showcased Lloyd Lo, a Senior Sales Representative for Take5 Jeans, and his daily toting needs, we now continue our Essentials series with the founder of the Hong Kong denim purveyor, Benny Seki. A Japanese denim expert and leather aficionado, Seki has built one of the most sought-after brands in Asia, which recently celebrated a prosperous decade in business. Take5 has built a strong business model collaborating with equally famed brands, co-creating refined products as well as retailing their goods in its Hong Kong location. This is certainly evident in Seki’s Essentials, as the inventive designer totes around labels like Toys McCoy, Red Moon and First Arrow, all of which have collaborated with the denim maker. This collection may seem to belong to a cattle worker instead of an enterprising business leader, but it only goes to show how cultured and fashion-forward Benny has become.
