After recently sitting down with Philip Post, owner and designer of dertbag, we now bring you the brand’s Spring 2012 loobook. Featuring professional skateboarder Jamal Smith as the lookbook model, the collection draws inspiration from its Connecticut roots as well as Post’s personal heroes: Cam’ron and Max B. While dertbag typically has been limited to just graphic tees and hoodies, Spring 2012 sees an expanded offering of accessories, such as the “Gullygan” bucket hat and standout tie dye backpack which was made in collaboration with Brooklyn-based D’emploi. Other highlights include a camouflage tee shirt featuring a bold hand-drawn Cam’ron graphic, a style of shirt that has become a staple in the dertbag lineup. The Spring 2012 collection from dertbag will be available through the brand’s webstore on Wednesday, March 21 at 8 p.m. EST.
