As every year, the Grammy Awards is packed with a great set of spectacular and moving performances. This year’s edition was no different. The night’s big winner, Adele, shut down Staples Center with a powerful performance of her hit “Rolling in the Deep,” quickly earning standing ovation honors from the crowd. The British songstress returned to the stage for the first time since undergoing vocal chord surgery. Jennifer Hudson payed homage to her idol Whitney Houston by delivering a moving rendition of her classic “I Will Always Love You” whereas Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt honored the late Etta James. In addition, Chris Brown turned in an impressive choreography-ridden set, highlighting his singles “Turn Up the Music” and “Beautiful People” whereas Nicki Minaj exorcised her alter ego Roman Zolanski during the theatrical, religious-themed debut of her new song “Roman Holiday.” Rihanna kept it energetic with her dance anthem “We Found Love,” before being joined by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin on their collaboration “Princess of China” after Bruno Mars rocked the stage with his Hooligans and performed “Runaway Baby” in matching black-and-gold tuxedos. Enjoy!
