As far as pop culture feuds go, the age-old battle between the Star Wars camp and Star Trek enthusiasts is easily one of the most notable. Although finding a definitive answer is inevitably a moot point due to the subjective nature of the content, the prevalence and longevity of both franchises begs the question nonetheless. Stretching far beyond the popularity of both movie filmographies – or in the case of Star Trek, the television episodes as well – the breadth and impact of both series is certainly undeniable given its heavy involvement in everything from books, toys, video games, and the list goes on. So which do you prefer? The storied George Lucas space opera or the science-fiction franchise created by Gene Roddenberry?
Looking back to a poll earlier this week in which we asked, “How Do You Get Your Music?” the results showed “Other” as the primary medium earning a majority 22.2% of the vote (642 votes) to edge out on top. A close second saw “Music Blogs” taking 20.3% of the vote (589 votes).
