Continuing the steady roll-out of Fall/Winter 2012 previews, Native Sons joins the trend with its latest collection preview. The Los Angeles-based designer, formerly a design assistant for Band of Outsiders, displays his aptitude and keen eye for aesthetic through an introduction of sophisticated and tailored pieces, each mocked up in a premium selection of materials and textiles. Hits of leather outerwear play their role alongside understated slim-cut pants, heathered wool knitwear and tailored blazers. Motorcycle jacket-inspired pieces are amplified with the including of tonal black polished button hardware, modified sleeves and zipper details. A taut footwear collection rounds out the initial preview of the label’s fall/winter offerings.
