Hailing from her home county of Shropshire, English designer Lou Dalton began tailoring her first bespoke lineup of menswear fashions at the early age of 16. Consistently retaining a degree of traditional English styling with an overtone of refined rebelliousness, Dalton debuted her forthcoming Fall/Winter 2012 collection at the recent London Fashion Week. A host of expertly fitted suits and overcoats made their way across center stage; each paired appropriately with a range of knitwear, wool jackets and denim. The chic maturity of Dalton’s vision affords each consecutive collection a level of sophistication that is normally saved for designers with a much longer history at the seam.
