The 2012 fall/winter collection from Smith-Wykes that was recently displayed at the Jacket Required trade show in London is a selective offering of outerwear, shirting, denim and casual knits. The range is equally as selective as the refined color palette, which doesn’t venture far beyond a mix of burnt orange, mustard yellow, grey, and navy blue. These shades and tints appear in several different forms, from plaid shirting to jacquard scarves. Above all, Smith-Wykes is a collection determined “to compliment, rather than overshadow the individual” and the label’s understated array of garments for the fall/winter season does well to further this mission and mentality.
