Alchemist – Whole Lotta Thug

The Alchemist follows up his widely acclaimed 2007 instrumental album Rappers Best Friend, with the second installment bearing the same name, set for a March 6 release. With that in mind, he has released one of the tracks from the LP challenging MCs everywhere to lay down their own verses on the track, with the winner being chosen by A-L-C along with the track with their bars becoming a official release. The Rapper’s Best Friend 2 contest offers MCs a chance to win an official release produced by The Alchemist. Participants need simply to download “Whole Lotta Thug” below, create a song with the beat and create a video of the performance, then reply to the contest Youtube with their own. Then, The Alchemist will personally select the winner, whose verse will be used on an official single to be released by Decon at a later date.
