In addition to his obvious love of fashion as a menswear producer, British designer Sir Paul Smith also harbors an unyielding love for bicycles and cycling. With the 2012 Summer Olympic Games set to take place in London beginning in July, Smith recently provided a glimpse into the unique London Velodrome. Completed in 2011, the permanent Olympic Park fixture features a Red Cedar wood exterior while its Siberian Pine track will host 28 Track Cycling and Paralympic Track Cycling events this summer. Following the Olympics, the London Velodrome will remain open to the public, allowing cyclists of all ages and skill to have a go on the track.
