2 Chainz to work with Kanye West

Def Jam recording artist 2 Chainz opened up yesterday to Sway on Rapfix Live about working with Kanye West over the past year. The Georgia rapper expressed in his interview that although they come from different backgrounds, they still have similarities that compliment each other musically. He is quoted below for saying the following:

“For the most part, when we started building our relationship, we found out we had more things in common than different from a musical standpoint. It’s no secret that I came from the hustle background, from that trap, and it’s no secret that he’s maybe more of a hipster swag, backpack kinda guy. So I think it’ll be interesting when you just drop that in the pot, in the blender, and see the outcome and results of some of that.”

His upcoming solo album tentatively titled T.R.U.2 will be released later this year. See the video above for the interview.
