Pacific Rim Movie Trailer

Warner Bros. and director Guillermo del Toro present the first official trailer for the upcoming science fiction epic, Pacific Rim. An homage to the likes of Godzilla and the Japanese giant monster films of old, the film stars Idris Elba, Sons of Anarchy‘s Charlie Hunnam and Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi as they look to pilot seemingly obsolete Jaeger (essentially giant robots) in a fight to defend mankind from destructive Kaiju that have mysteriously risen from the depths of the Pacific Ocean. The apocalyptic action flick is due to hit theaters in both 3D and IMAX 3D on July 12, 2013.
