After a long and storied 80-year run, Newsweek is making the full transition away from print and into the digital world. The move away from physical printing has been a highly debated but often understood change for the media landscape. But to pay homage to both its historical past and of course its impending move, Newsweek make a short yet powerful statement with a front cover featuring the hashtagged title of #LASTPRINTISSUE. The hashtag has arguably been one of the defining aspects of internet culture of the last few years but as we see yet another print-to-online transition, many will be interested to see how smooth the transformation actually is.
