With the plans for his next single surfacing last week, Kendrick Lamar‘s debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city is now certified Gold. Reaching over 500,000 units sold in about five weeks, we can expect the number to raise even quicker when his Drake-assisted track “Poetic Justice” hits televisions and airwaves. Top Dawg Entertainment CEO, Anthony Tiffith, took to his Twitter to share the accomplishment, tweeting out:
label hit me and told me #GKMC already certified gold !!!!!!!! Thanks 2 y’all ….#TDE #HiiiPoWer
